The 7-woman, 5-man jury emerged from the jury room to a courtroom packed with the victim's family members and meted out a death sentence for Lucero. Lucero, 47, was convicted Monday of capital murder in the Sept. 6, 2003, slayings of 71-year-old Pedro Robledo, his 72-year-old wife, Maria, and their 31-year-old daughter, Fabiana.
