303 INDONESIAN WORKERS FACING DEATH SENTENCE

Indonesia's Foreign Affairs Ministry revealed that apart from Ruyati binti Satubi who was recently executed in Saudi Arabia, there are 303 Indonesian defendants who have faced death sentences from 1999 to 2011. Out of 303 defendants, three have been executed, two in Saudi Arabia and one in Egypt. Malaysia holds the largest number of case of Indonesians facing death sentences, with 233 defendants. China comes second, with 29 defendants and Saudi Arabia third, with 28 defendants.
