A Brazilian man shot dead after testifying before a UN envoy on police-sanctioned death squads in Brazil, became the second such witness killed in two weeks, police said. The killing came a day after Asma Jahangir, UN special rapporteur on extra-judicial executions, said Brazilian police were involved in summary killings and urged a UN investigation.
