A court in Gujranwala, Pakistan, condemned four people to death for murder. Judge Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah of Anti Terrorism Court No 1 found Muhammad Luqman Rana, Kazim Hussain Sarwar, Muhammad Imran and Rana Abdul Rehman guilty of the murder of seven people on September 18, 2001. The prosecution said the killings were connected to a political feud.
The court acquitted Ms Najam un Nisa, Muhammad Ejaz and Muhammad Riaz of the same charges.
The victims were Kalim Malik, Mastan, Qayyum Jatt, Muhammad Saqib, Ghulam Ali Malang, Muhammad Farhan and Gul Hassan.
