A court in Vietnam's southern province of Dong Nai handed down the death penalty to Dinh Quang Tuan for stabbing and beating to death his neighbour, Kieu Thi Phung, in June 2003, while trying to rob her motorbike and jewellery. Three of his accomplices were sentenced to between 10 and 14 years for taking part in beating and robbing the victim.
