Jurors voted 9-3 in the death of Glenn Pafford and 8-4 in the death of Liz Reed for a death sentence. They voted for life imprisonment in the death of Courtney Smith, 16.
The same jury found Carter, 51, guilty of 3 counts of 1st-degree murder 2 weeks ago. Carter admitted the killings and said they were motivated by jealousy.
