a Jefferson County jury voted 11-1 in recommending a death sentence for a 41-year-old man convicted of capital murder for killing his stepdaughter, 15-year-old Alicia Nicole Bentley.
William Bruce Marshall admitted strangling the girl on Dec. 28, 2004, then dumping her nude body in a remote area. Circuit Judge Laura Petro set sentencing for February 23rd.
