A jury has recommended the death penalty for a man convicted of raping and murdering his neighbor. If Hartford Superior Court Judge Carmen Espinosa agrees, Lazale Ashby , 23, will become the 10th person on Connecticut's death row. Jurors in the 23-year-old's case were deadlocked just 2 days ago, but decided today to recommend the death penalty. Ashby was convicted of strangling 21-year-old Elizabeth Rodriguez in 2002.
