A jury recommended the death penalty for Wilson Earl Robitaillie, convicted in the stabbing deaths of a woman and her 2 children on May 11, 2001. Robitaillie was convicted of capital murder in the killings of Alisa Taylor, 34; her 7-year-old daughter, Robin; and her 4-year-old son, Trent. Jurors viewed a videotape of Robitaillie's confession to police.
Robitaillie told police he killed the family after Mrs. Taylor caught him taking items from her purse.
