a jury unanimously recommended Alwyn Tumblin be executed for the May 2004 killing of Jimmy Johns. It will be up to Circuit Judge James McCann to make the final decision on sentencing. A date for sentencing has not been set, but McCann will hold the next hearing on the case on Aug. 17. The jury found Tumblin, 28, guilty last week of 1st-degree murder and robbery in the May 2004 killing.
