a man was executed at Wau prison without the knowledge of his close family members. Dok Maker Mabor had been convicted of killing Lakes State’s Chief Aparer Chut, elder brother of the state governor. In a press statement, family members of Dok Maker Mabor said he was not given a fair trial and was executed in secret and without notification of the family to bury him. The family admitted that Dok had murdered Chief Aparer but said the court should have considered that it was an act of revenge against the killing of his own father, Chief Maker Mabor Riak.
