a Maricopa County Superior Court jury brought back 5 death penalty verdicts, one for each of the five women Morris strangled during sex in his camper van. The guilty verdict came on July 11. Judge Douglas Rayes will formalize the sentence in the next weeks. Between September 2002 and April 2003, Morris killed Barbara Codman, Shanteria Davis, Jade Velazquez, Sherry Noah and Julie Castillo. He was a suspect, but was never charged, in the death of a 6th woman, Janice Irvin, whose body was found in July 2002.
