a middle aged man, Tersoo Terna, was sentenced to death by hanging by a Makurdi High Court, in Nigeria, for allegedly robbing a clergyman of his Toyota Hilux van at gun point. At the trial, State prosecutor, Mrs. Jane Ewurum told the court that the suspect and three others who were at large conspired, attacked and robbed one Rev. Pastor Peter Zuana, the Secretary General of the NKST Synod, at Mkar in Gboko local government area of Benue state in May 2012. In his judgment, Justice Onum observed that the evidences against the accused outweighed his defense, he accordingly sentenced him to death by hanging.
