A poll of potential jurors by The National Law Journal and Decision Quest found that recent exonerations of death row inmates, both by DNA and outside investigations, have made 31% of potential voters more inclined to vote for life imprisonment instead of the death penalty. In addition, the poll found that less than half of those surveyed believe that current procedures for reviewing death sentences are adequate.
