A prisoner involved in a double murder case was hung to death at the central jail in Multan. Talib Husain had shot dead his father-in-law and his son-in-law in 1987 in Moza Dhillon, Vehari. His appeals were rejected by both the High Court and Apex Court, and the President of Pakistan turned down his mercy appeal.
