a West Bank military tribunal in Ramallah sentenced private 'Izziddin Rassem Daghra, from Kufor 'Ein village north of Ramallah, to death by firing squad, after convicting him of collaboration with Israel. The head of the Palestinian court, Ahmed Abu Dayyeh, said the information the man provided to Israel led to the arrest of several Palestinians. Abu Dayyeh said that the 41-year-old officer was recruited as an informer in 1992.
