a young housewife and her lover were sentenced to death for the murder of her husband in Gangadaspur, a remote village of Jibannagar upazila, two years ago. Additional district and sessions judge Motahar Hasan handed down the death penalty to Ujala Khatun, 30, and Samiul, 32. They murdered Raj Hossain on the night of December 22, 2006. The lovers admitted the guilt to the magistrate.
