According to Jordan Times, two brothers, convicted of the premeditated murder of a Jerash man in October 2001, were executed at Swaqa prison.
Ramzi A., 32, and Nawaf, 30, had been sentenced to death in April 2003, after being convicted of the murder of Ahmad Mohammad at the Jerash refugee camp.
Ramzi had originally received a 15-year prison term for being an accessory to the murder, but his sentence was raised to the death penalty after the Court of Cassation asked the Criminal Court to consider him an accomplice in the murder.
