According to unofficial sources four prisoners were hanged in the prison of Urmia (West Azerbaijan, northwestern Iran). Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) reported that the prisoners were identified as “Mohammad Jalili Ayan, Vahid Pajohideh, Ghader Anbari and Aslan Amoui Milan. All the four prisoners were convicted of murder and sentenced to qesas.
Ayan, 37 years old, from the city of Salmas had been sentenced to death on charge of murder and rape by the branch 2 of the Salmas court has been hanged without his family or lawyer being informed.
