Brown, 23, was convicted of capital murder and condemned for the April 2003 shooting death of Houston police officer Charles R. Clark, 45, during a robbery.
Store clerk Alfredia Jones, 27, also was shot to death during that heist.
One of Brown's friends, Elijah Dwayne Joubert, 26, also has been sent to death row after being convicted of capital murder for her slaying.
