ALGERIA: SIX DEATH SENTENCES IN BORDJ BOUARRERIDJ

the Constantine criminal court in Algeria sentenced six men to death for the June 17, 2009, terrorist attack in the Bordj Bou Arreridj region that killed 18 policemen in 2009 in eastern Algeria. The six were charged with "setting up a terrorist group, premeditated murder and theft of weapons," according to the indictment.
