Alina Fernandez Revuelta, the estranged daughter of Fidel Castro, called for stronger international condemnation of the Cuban communist regime. "The European Union's policy of seeking a dialogue with the Cuban regime is not acceptable. We've seen that neither sanctions nor dialogue are of any use with Castro," Fernandez said at Hands Off Cain press conference held in Rome. Fernandez Revuelta said summary executions first began in Cuba after the 1959 revolution, and she recalled "having seen one on television when I was three years old." "For every Cuban that escapes to Miami, three die, and forcing them to escape in that way, under those conditions, is already a death sentence," the Cuban dictator's daughter said.
