Amanullah alias Shahbaz had his death sentence for murder reduced to ten years rigorous imprisonment by a division bench of the Sindh High Court in Pakistan. He had been sentenced to death by the Anti-Terrorism Court in Karachi on September 28, 2000 on charges of killing a policeman.
