An Iranian man convicted of murdering his wife has been hanged in public in a square in the central city of Arak, Hamvatan Salam paper newspaper reported.
The man, identified only by his first name Mohammad, was sentenced to death for strangling his wife with her scarf over a domestic dispute approximately two months previous to his execution.
