Sibley, 62, was convicted of capital murder for the shooting death of police officer Roger Motley. Sibley's common-law wife, Lynda Lyon Block, was executed on MAY 10, 2002 (vedi) for her role in Motley's death.
Sibley becomes the 3rd condemned inmate to be put to death this year in Alabama and the 33rd in the USA.
