Ayatollah Bojnurdi the head of Iran's Islamic Human Rights Commission condemned the death sentence issued against university professor Hashem Aghajari. Speaking in Madrid, where he was participating in a human rights conference, Bojnurdi said that the verdict was not only against Islamic and Iranian law, but also against Iran's national interests.
