Bahrain's king, Shaikh Hamad Bin Isa al-Khalifa, should halt plans to execute Bangladeshi Jassim Abdulmanan for killing a man in 2005, Human Rights Watch said. Joe Stork, deputy Middle East director at Human Rights Watch said "Bahrain appeared to be part of the international consensus against the death penalty, but this sentence calls that into question."
