Bali judges delivered the last significant verdict in Bali bombing trials, giving a life sentence to logistics and financial man Mubarok. Mubarok's sentence signaled the end of the trials of major bombing conspirators.
Mubarok is a long-time member of terror group Jemaah Islamiyah and the decision to spare him from the firing squad was based mostly on his contrition and apology to victims.
Like Ali Imron, also sentenced to life, Mubarok co-operated with authorities and eschewed the traditional Muslim dress, appearing in court in Western attire.
