A court in Chittagong convicted six
people and sentenced them to death for killing a man in Kachua of Chandpur
district on July 30, 2014.
Judge Mohitul Haque Enam Chowdhury of Chittagong Divisional Speedy Trial Tribunal delivered the verdict on this morning.
Tribunal counsel Aiyub Khan confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
According to the case statement, the victim Waliullah was hacked to death on July 30 in 2014.
Later, victim`s wife Jaynab Begum filed a murder case with Kachua police station.
