BANGLADESH: FIVE SENTENCED TO DEATH IN TANGALLE

five members of a family were sentenced to death by Tangalle High Court judge Chandrasena Rajapaksa in Bangladesh. Over 15 years ago, Gunwathi Abeywickrema, her three sons Osmand Chamin, Richard Shantha and Austin Gamini, and her daughter in law Menaka Damayanthi allegedly hacked to death 32 year old Liyanaarachchi Vijitha from Getamanna, Beliatta.
