A policeman has been sentenced to death in Bangladesh for killing his wife, Nepalnews reported on 6 October 2021.
The court sentenced Mohammad Mahmood Alam to death.
He had strangled his wife to death in a rented house two years ago after a family feud.
Alam, who was working as a policeman in the Armed Police Battalion at Shiromani of Khulna at the time, killed his second wife, Johanna Akhtar Usha.
