Judge Abu Ahmed Jamadar awarded the death penalty to Ashraf Ali, alias Kurano, of Krishnapur village, and Gyan Charar, alias Gaynendra. They are suspected members of the underground Sarbohara party.
The prosecution said the accused picked up Atowar Hosasain and Lutfar Rahman on July 7, 1996, took them to Khirshadigi where they were brutally hacked, shot with gun and slaughtered.
