Knight, 28, killed Odessia Stephens, 24, and her daughter Hannessia, 4.
The slayings occurred on June 28, 2000.
At trial, Assistant State Attorney Tony Loe said Knight was motivated to kill because he'd been asked to move out of the apartment.
