Bruce Charles Jacobs was executed tonight. At 6:17 p.m., 6 minutes after the lethal drugs began flowing, he was pronounced dead. Jacobs, 56, was condemned for the slaying of Conrad Harris, 16, on July 22, 1986. Jacobs becomes the 15th condemned inmate to be put to death this year in Texas, and the 33rd in the USA.
