Li Wei, Wang Qianjin, and Li Ya were executed. The Haozhou Intermediate People's Court in Anhui province, China, had sentenced them to death the day before for ‘wilfully causing harm, organizing and leading criminal syndicates, stirring up troubles, holding guns and ammunition illegally, and racketeering’. The men reportedly killed a man in a hospital in Haozhou in 2004.
