An intermediate court in southern Guizhou sentenced Wang to death and suspended the execution of the sentence for two years. It was reported that as the director of Guiding Tobacco Factory, Wang accepted bribes of 8.4m yuan and 9,000 dollars in addition to other items from contractor Wang Gang.
