CHINA: METHAMPHETAMINE PRODUCER EXECUTED AFTER MASSIVE BATCH SEIZURE
The Intermediate People's Court of China’s Linyang City has confirmed the execution of a death sentence for a man convicted of producing and trafficking 200 kg of methamphetamine, Caliber.az reported on March 23, 2025.

The Intermediate People's Court of China’s Linyang City has confirmed the execution of a death sentence for a man convicted of producing and trafficking 200 kg of methamphetamine, Caliber.az reported on March 23, 2025.
The convicted individual, identified by his surname Lu, was born in 1964 and was a resident of Linyang City, located in Fujian Province, eastern China.
In 2020, Lu partnered with a group of criminals with the intention of distributing illegal narcotics.
During the operation, he successfully manufactured around 200 kg of methamphetamine and sold 3 kg of the drug. The Supreme People's Court upheld the death penalty for Lu, citing his involvement in both the manufacturing and distribution of illicit substances. In addition, all of his personal assets have been confiscated.
