CHINA SENTENCES ONE TO DEATH OVER FUND-RAISING SCAM

the Nanjing Intermediate People's Court in east China's Jiangsu Province sentenced Sun Haiyu to death for illegally raising up to 4 billion yuan in a fraudulent investment scheme. Haiyu set up Nanjing Runzai Biology Co and got public investments to plant mushrooms from April 2004 to July 2008.
