China is scheduled to execute a mentally ill British national after the Supreme Court turned down his appeal.

China is scheduled to execute a mentally ill British national after the Supreme Court turned down his appeal. Akmal Shaikh, who suffers from bi-polar disorder, is set for execution December 29. He was arrested in September 2007 in Urumqi, northwest China, with a suitcase containing drugs.
