a Tibetan was handed a suspended death sentence by the intermediate people’s Court of Nyarong (Chinese: Xinlong) County in China, said Dharamsala-based Tibetan Centre for Human Rights and Democracy. Pema Yeshi, 28, from Thangkyi Township of Nyarong County in Karze Prefecture, Sichuan Province, was charged with “inciting separatism” and “disturbing social order”.
