CHINA. TWO MEN EXECUTED FOR MURDER

Liang Guanzhong, a former police chief in Hohhot in China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, was executed together with Wei Jin, a contract killer, after being convicted of the murdering his mistress.
The victim, known as Li, pressed Liang, then director of a branch of the Hohhot Public Security Bureau, to divorce his wife.
Liang decided to get rid of Li and on April 14, Liang and Wei killed Li at her residence and dismembered her body before dropping it along a highway.
