CHINA: TWO-YEAR REPRIEVE FOR WIFE WHO PAID TO HAVE HUSBAND KILLED

Chen Liwei, 39, a Zhejiang Province native, was sentenced to death with a two-year reprieve by the Shanghai No. 1 Intermediate People's Court in China. She allegedly paid two hitmen 200,000 yuan to murder her husband Pan Dachang, who was killed on February 11. Tang Jianhua, one of the two hitmen, was sentenced to death.
