CHINESE VENDOR APPEALS AGAINST DEATH PENALTY FOR KILLING 'THUG' LAW ENFORCERS

an unlicensed food vendor in China will appeal against his death sentence over the killing two local security officers. Xia Junfeng, 34, from Shenyang in north China, was convicted of murder after stabbing the men to death. But his wife and lawyer say he was trying to defend himself as the officers beat and kicked him.
