The Cairo Criminal Court on 26 October 2019 unanimously sentenced to death Adel Khalaf, who is involved in the case known as the terrorist "Warraq Cell".

The Cairo Criminal Court on 26 October 2019 unanimously sentenced to death Adel Khalaf, who is involved in the case known as the terrorist "Warraq Cell".
On 27 August, the court decided to refer papers of the defendant to the Mufti of the Republic for consultation.
The court also sentenced another defendant to life in prison and two others to five years in jail, while one person was acquitted.
The public prosecution had accused members of the terrorist cell of possessing firearms, killing civilians and policemen and joining a terrorist group that is set up against law.
