the Cairo Criminal Court in Egypt sentenced Sherif Kamal Al-Din to death. He confessed to killing his family on January 15 after suffering huge financial losses in the stock market.
"I first killed my wife by hitting her with a bat on her head, then I went to my daughter’s room and hit her and then my son, then I went back to my daughter who was still alive and hit her again," he told the judge.
The Judge referred Al-Din’s papers to the grand mufti and set June 6 to pronounce the final verdict.
