EGYPT OVERTURNS DEATH SENTENCE IN STAR’S MURDER

Egypt’s Court of Cassation threw out the death sentences of millionaire Hisham Talat Moustafa, 51, and Mohsen el-Sukari for murdering Lebanese pop singer Suzanne Tamim, 30, in Dubai in 2008. The 11-judge panel ordered a retrial but did not give specific reasons, only noting “technical grounds”.
