On February 22, 2020 it took place the execution by hanging of three defendants at Cairo Appeal Court: Mustafa Antar Muhammad; Mustafa Ibrahim Muhammad; Sameh Dahi Abdullah. The three inmates were sentenced to death for killing lieutenant colonel of Giza Police Department, Ahmed Abu al-Dahab, during a robbery in September 2013.
The execution was carried out in the presence of Cairo Appeal Court’s executives, a member of the public prosecutor and a member of the Endowments Authority.
