EGYPT: WOMAN SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR MURDERING CHILD
Giza’s Criminal Court, chaired by Justice Ibrahim Abdullah, has decided to sentence a housewife called Hanyat to death for murdering a child girl in Giza, south to Cairo, See News reported on 28 November 2019.

The defendant stole gold earrings of the victim to buy a present to her husband on Valentine’s Day of 2017.
The forensic examiner assured that the child was murdered.
A woman headed for a jewelry shop and pretended to sell earrings of her daughter.
The goldsmith bought the earrings but an assistant doubted that the earrings belong to the victim.
The goldsmith went to the police station and told them his doubts.
A surveillance camera videoed the seller woman.
Probes revealed that the woman murdered the girl to buy a present to her husband on Valentines’ Day of 2017.
It is worth mentioning that the Criminal Court referred the lawsuit of the woman to the Mufti who supported the death sentence.
