Five suspects were sentenced to death in the case on the terrorist organization TKP/ML [Turkish Communist Party/Marxist Leninist-Turkish Workers and Peasants]. The court sentenced Fedai Sahin, Zeki Sahin, Muzaffer Acunbay, Ali Seyit Ugur and Hasan Ruzgar to death penalty under Article 146/1 of the Turkish Penal Code for attempting to change the Turkish Constitution by use of force.
