FLORIDA (USA): DAVID ALAN GORE EXECUTED

David Alan Gore, 58, white, a serial killer, was executed in Florida.
On July 26, 1983 he raped and killed 17-year-old Lynn Elliott. The girl was raped, but managed to escape. Gore chased her down and shot her.
Police were called after a boy saw Gore running naked, ending a string of rapes and murders. After his arrest, Gore admitted to killing 3 other teenage girls and 2 women and led authorities to the bodies of 4 of the victims.
He was sentenced to life in prison for the other murders.
Gore becomes the 2nd condemned inmate to be put to death this year in Florida and the 73rd overall since the state resumed capital punishment in 1979. Gore become the 13th condemned inmate to be put to death this year in the USA and the 1290th overall since the nation resumed executions on January 17, 1977.
